All fashions unlocked:
Enable the Cheat Trophy code, then hit X, Black, Down, Right, X during game play.
Development team picture:
Press Right, Down, Right, Down, Right at the title screen. Note: The Cheat Trophy is not required
for this code. A Sim voice will confirm correct code entry.
Alternately, hit Left, Right, Down, Right, Left, Right, Down at the title screen. A Sim
voice will confirm correct code entry.
All objects unlocked:
Enable the Cheat Trophy code, then hit White, B, Down, Left, Up during game play.
Full motives:
Enable the Cheat Trophy code, then hit Up, B, Up, Right, White during game play. Select the
Cheat Trophy to access the option to fill all motives. Note: This only affects player one.
Cheat Trophy:
Press L, R, Up, A, Black during game play. The Cheat Trophy [actually a Plumb Bob Trophy which
resembles a metal post] will now appear on the lots and the following codes may now be enabled.
Advance time by six hours:
Enable the Cheat Trophy code, then hit B, X, L, Up, Down during game play. Select the Cheat
Trophy, then Interaction/Location: Advance 6 Hours.
Note: Using this code when someone is at work or away may cause problems with them coming back.
Hints: Avoid being fired:
If you accidentally miss your ride to work on your second day of missing work, before it says you have
been fired, quickly find another job by looking in the newspaper or the Internet. Once you have
avoided the call to get fired, you can change back to your previous job without being demoted and
getting deducted skill points.
To skip work without getting fired, enable the 'Cheat Trophy' and 'Advance time six hours' code. When
you get the notice that it will be one hour until your carpool arrives, go to the cheat trophy and
select the option to advance time by six hours. You will have missed work, but will not get a calling
notice and will not get fired for it after extended use.
Hints: Raising motives:
To raise your Social, Energy, Fun and Comfort at the same time, power nap on a couch with a television
or radio on nearby and another Sim sitting beside the Sim you are controlling.
The Chess Table can also be a Paper Football Table. Have one Sim try to score on the other Sim by shooting
the Paper Football through the other Sim's fingers [like a field goal]. This raises Fun.
Buy an Exhito Machine. Three cups of exhito raises your energy level to full. Always buy the bathroom
stalls and put them near the Exhito Machine [remove any extra bathrooms]. Also buy the Floating
Bathtub and put it near the kitchen and toilets. The Floating Tub increases Hygiene, Fun, Comfort,
and Social [when another Sim joins you].
Put Stereos all around the house. Whenever your Sim walks by one, their Fun level will automatically
start to increase without dancing. Put one in your kitchen, by the restroom stalls, by the hot tub,
and by your couch. Even if you power nap, the radio will still increase your Fun level.
To keep your Room motive high, clear out all the interior walls and just have one huge room. Delete any
extra bedrooms and bathrooms. You do not need them. No matter how much trash builds up in the house,
your room level will always be high. If you are at a house with three or four separate rooms,
just connect them all and take down the dividing walls. Make sure to hire a maid or you will live
in a sea of trash.
Hints: Killing your Sim:
With a low cooking skill, make a meal with Squid, Llama, Eel, and Fauxlestra. This will make your Sim
double vomit, go to the batheroom, then fall over and die.
Go to the refrigerator and select 'Get Ingredients'. Go on 'Harvest Seafood', get one Halibut and one
Shark. Then, go to 'Harvest Fruit' and get one Mangosteen. Then, go to 'Liquids' and get some Juice.
Then, select 'Done'. Do not eat it raw. Select 'Make Carpaccio With Fruit Sauce'. When made, there
should be little hearts coming out of the food. Then, eat. Wait until they have finished all
their food,, then your Sim will begin to die. They should first become sick, then wet themselves,
then turn into a ghost. Note: You must harvest the fruit and seafood; this is done by getting an aquarium
for the seafood and a fruit tree for the fruit. If you do not want your Sim to return to life,
do not select the Grim Reaper [which usually arrives about one Sim hour later].
Build a bathroom and invite a Sim over. Wait until he or she enters the bathroom. Go to 'Build catalog'
and enable remove mode. Remove the door from the bathroom and wait. It is recommended that you
advance time by six hours. They will eventually die, and that Sim will not appear any more in the
game. If you do with your own Sim, this will not happen.
Hints: Saving money:
Objectives that require buying furniture can be easily purchased on low ends. Just buy it to complete
the goal then delete and get your full money back.
Hints: Avoid building extra bedrooms:
Buy the Exhito Machine and have only a small bedroom with two beds. They will rarely get used. You
can also put all the beds into one bedroom. The Sims will not mind. Also, just buy the Twin Beds.
If your Sims do not like each other, they will not share a bed.
Hints: Selling a good painting:
Have high Creativity and be in a good mood to sell a good painting.
Hints: Business career bonuses:
When you get to level 6 in a job you can ride in a limo. You will get to fly in an helicopter at about
level 9.
Hints: Golden egg:
Finish the chicken at checkers and he will give you a golden egg.
Hints: Socialize faster:
Have a Sim who is not working throw a party while you are at work. Usually only two Sims will show up
for a party. Make them cook a good meal and when the guests show up, they will eat and find entertainment
until you arrive home from work. By that time, your guests are in a good mood and be more
willing to socialize with you.
In some cases, talking to a new roommate can be difficult and the points will often turn negative. Try
this first. Make both of the Sims get in the hot tub together a few times. They will talk and get
a few positive points. Once you get to about 10, you will unlock the 'Tell a joke' option. Use this
repeatedly until you become friends.
Get your Sims into a hot tub and build a wall around them so they cannot escape.
Instead of making your Sim approach the new roommates, switch to the ones you can control and make them
talk to your Sim. They automatically start off with the 'Tell a joke' option
Hints: Energy boost effect meal:
Dangleberry, Yogurt, Strawberries and Cherries; or Ostrich, Eel, Strawberries and Mangosteen [expensive
but works the best].
Sandwiches that boost energy [also is a love dish] are Ostrich, Pork, Strawberry, Wheat Bread.
You must have a Fish Tank. Harvest your fish and go to the refrigerator. This will not cost any money.
First, get the Shark, Halibut, Eel, and Squid. Go to your stove and make Capriccio. If you do not
see that option, eat it raw. You will vomit, but some of your stats will increase. Note: You must
take a shower after this because of the vomit. Do not do this just before your carpool arrives because
you might not have time to take a shower.
If you are low on money and cannot afford beds for everyone in the house, try this trick. Buy the !!!!Eshito.it.supremo!!!!,
which costs 450 Simoleons. Make and drink Eshito until a Sim's Energy
meter is full. A Sim will not even need to sleep throughout the game if this is done.
Hints: Sick meal:
With any meal you make using Llama, no matter what the effect, any Sim that eats it will vomit.
Make a meal with Green Smoke [repulsive] by using Lamb, Tuna, Corn Oil and Olive Oil.
Make a meal with Black Hearts and Grey Smoke [repulsive] by using Chicken, Turkey, Apple, and Milk.
Hints: Hidden food:
There is more than just the food you can make. For example, there is food that give your skills a boost,
food that helps you in love [romance Sims only for their goals], and food not in the list. For
example, you can make a pizza.
Hints: Unlocking locations:
Rockwall Acres: Simply follow the instructions given to unlock this area.
Shoreline Trails: Buy a Foosball Table. When a Want that described as 'Finish Torin at Foosball' appears,
wait for Torin to play, then click the 'Challenge' option and defeathim.
Cliffside Retreat: Fulfill all of Isabella's Wants and make her happy. Note: It may be difficult and
take some time to get her to make a sandwich.
HMS Amore: Fulfill all of Betty's Wants until she is platinum. She will then tell you where the next
location is. One of her wants will be to marry Captain Nelson.
Sunset Canyon: Bring Helga, Billy, and Sheila back to life, build a kitchen, clean up the mess, build
a bathroom, and give them beds to sleep in. They will then tell you the next location.
Orbit Room: First, become friends with Red S, then serve him some food. Once you have done that, move
back to Sunset Canyon and make Red S and Helga fall in love and get married. Red S will now live
there, and you can control him. Do whatever is needed to get Red S in a platinum mood. He will tell
you how to get to Tranquillity Falls. Alternately, help Billy complete his gold goals at Sunset
Canyon or have Phil complete one full career.
Tranquillity Falls: This level is rather easy. To move onto the next level, you must fulfill all of Larry's
wants to put him in a platinum mood, and do the same with Chantal. After both are in a platinum
mood they will tell you where Jungen House is located, and it will be unlocked.
Jugen House: Here you fulfill Toothless Joe's aspirations until your Sim gets 'Visit New Location' as
one of their aspirations. Then, go back to Tranquillity Falls and your aspiration will change to
'Help Chantal'. To do this, just keep fulfilling her wants until she is platinum [a job in Art]. This
will unlock the Alien Crash Site.
Alien Crash Site: You must help XY-XY. To do this, just keep fulfilling his aspirations and make him
friends with Jonas. This will unlock The Bio-Dome.
Mesa Gallery: Help Hector complete his gold goals at HMS Amore
Bio Dome: Have Noel complete one full career.
To unlock new locations, complete all of your Gold and Platinum goals. Do not worry too much with the
Green ones. You also need to complete your roommate's Gold and Platinum goals [usually one or two
roommates per house].
Hints: Hunger satisfaction:
The more expensive refrigerators carry more foods. They also add a bonus amount of hunger satisfaction.
The more cooking skill you have, the higher the hunger satisfaction.
Hunger is the one need that if left unmet can kill your Sim.
To quickly fulfill your Sim's hunger even with low cooking skills, make a meal using Beef, Pork, Lamb
and Potatoes.
If you are low on money and do not have enough to eat, sell your refrigerator, stove, etc. and buy a
Fruit Punch Barrel. It will satisfy your hunger about 98%. You can just go to 'Drink From Tap' and
it will do the rest.
Hints: Unlocking clothes:
Get your Sim's relationships to 100 with everyone. Every time you raise another relationship to 100,
you will unlock a new article of clothing.
Hints: Mode switch:
Press Back to toggle from Direct Control mode to Cursor Select mode. This very useful during Freeplay
mode.
Hints: Getting married:
Bring your Friendship up to 80 or 90. If the background is very red and blurry, select 'Be on' the socialize
menu and go to a bed. Select 'Relax' then choose the bed again. Select 'Woo whoo' once then
hit B to get out of the bed. Select 'Socialize' and if you are in love, select 'Propose' and
hope that the other Sim says yes.
Hints: No bills:
Make a little 4x4 room and put a fireplace in it. Then, place a bin in front of the fireplace. In the
last reaming square you will need to place a door. Afterwards, as fast as possible, quickly get the
bills, hold them in your hand, and run in the little room. After awhile the bin will catch alight
and so will you eventually. When you die. your bills turn to ash with you. Therefore you will not
have to pay them. To return to life, either challenge the Grim Reaper in a fiddle contest or pay
him 100 Simoleons. You can find him in the garden near the road after you die.
Go outside and get your bill. Once you get it out of the mailbox, quickly hit B. Do not fast forward.
Just before the bill touches the ground, hit Start. Buy any chair and place it under your
bill. Your bill will disappear. You will no longer have to pay the bill. Sell your chair to get your
money back.
Hints: Stay in a hot tub:
To stay in a hot tub as long as desired, go to direct control mode and get in. While in direct control,
your Sim will not do anything unless you make them. Note: If you stay in for too long, your motives
will get very low and your Sim may possibly die.
Hints: No friends or money worries:
It will be easier if you just get through your career at level 10. Then as you progress through the game,
you will not have to worry about making friends or money.
Hints: Forced friends:
If you need friends, get a Hot Rock Hot Tub, or move to Tranquillity Falls where they already have one.
Invite over who you want to be your friends and get them in the hot tub. Then, put objects around
it so they cannot get out. Leave them in there long enough and they will become your friends. Note:
Get out before your hunger goes all the way down or else they will die.
Hints: Helping your roommates make friends:
When helping another Sim advance their career, they also need friends [for example, Noel at the Biodome].
Move back to a house where you can control three or more roommates and invite Noel over. When
he shows up, make the roommates talk to him until they are friends and keep doing this until he has
enough friends. Then, move back to the Biodome so that he can continue going to work and getting
his promotions.
