Ecko team:
Create a custom team. Choose a game mode then hit
Y and load your custom team. After returning to the team
selection screen, hit Left until the Ecko team appears.
Hints: Get the ball at the start:
Set the weather to 'Heavy Rain' before the
game. If the CPU wins the coin toss, it will choose to kick most
of the time.
Hints: Avoid tackles:
Stop running for a moment. You can sometimes easily
avoid being tackled. Sometimes you will need to juke, spin, or
stiff arm to get past defenders.
Hints: Free Madden cards:
Create a false profile. Use the false profile to earn
points for Madden cards, then save the false profile. Every time
you turn on your game, use the points to buy packs of cards with
your false profile and trade them with your real profile. Do not
save the false profile, but do save your real profile after the
trading. Turn off the console then back on again. You can load
your false profile again and continue to buy cards with that profile
and trade for the ones that you want. You can make two hundred
points go a long way.

Hints: Offense always gets the ball:
When kicking off [at least in an indoor stadium], aim
all the way up and all the way to the right. With penalties off,
the returner will call for a fair catch. One of your cover players
will either strip the returner or catch the kick, giving you the
ball on the 35. For example, play as the Buccaneers. When playing
at Detroit, Grammattica will kick it and Dwight Smith will make
the play downfield.
Hints: Created player announced:
Provide a created player a pro's last name to hear his
name announced.
Hints: Unlimited creation points:
Create a player, then go to 'Edit Player'
at the roster screen. Press Up or Down to choose
the player you want to edit. Press Right to get to the
speed category, then hit Ax2. Choose attributes to adjust
them up to 99 points.
Hints: Easy passes:
When you are the QB, you can throw the ball two different
ways: straight [hold the button of the receiver you want to throw
it to] and up high [hit and release the button for that receiver].
When you throw it up high, the QB will throw the ball over the
safety to your receiver. He will catch the ball most of the time.
Throwing it straight is the most common way. He just throws it
to the receiver and it will not go over the safety. It is best
to use the straight pass if the WR is wide open.
