To unlock cars and tracks, compete in the GT Career mode. You can earn money there to upgrade your cars,
and buy or sell new and used ones.
Hints: Hidden Controls:
There are a number of 'hidden' controls in Gran Turismo 4 that will make navigating the game a bit easier:
Press L1 on the main Gran Turismo Mode screen to jump the cursor to Home
Press R1 on the main Gran Turismo Mode screen to jump the cursor to the country of your vehicle's manufacturer.
Press Start when looking at your garage to bring up the vehicle settings screen.
Press Start when changing your vehicle's settings to enlarge the Engine Power/Torque curve.
Press Start at the end of a series race to skip the finish times and championship points screens.
Press L3 at any screen with scrolling text to pause it.
Press L3 during a replay to fast-forward.
Press X during a pit stop, to to stop refueling, letting you get out of the stop faster.
Press any combination of Left, Right and Down buttons on the D-pad to look in that direction while
driving.

Hints: Use of NOS:
If you install a NOS system on your car, you can tap into it by hiting the R1 button. The Nitro guage
is located to the right of the dash. Once it is empty, you will need to take a pit stop to refuel
it or wait for it to slowly recharge.
