Double melee attack damage:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Circlex2, Upx2, Square.

Chow Yun Jack mode:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Triangle, Circle, Upx3.
A message will confirm correct code entry. You are given a pair
of double guns at the beginning of the level, even if you would
normally have none.
One Hit Wonder mode:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Triangle, Circlex3, Left.
A message will confirm correct code entry.
Bang Bang mode:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Circle, Triangle, Square,
Circle, Right. A message will confirm correct code
entry.
Wussy mode:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Square, Left, Triangle,
Up, Down. A message will confirm correct code entry.
Enemies will be less accurate in this mode.
Master code:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Circle, Triangle, Square,
Up, Right, X, Square. A message will
confirm correct code entry. All mini-games, unlimited health,
unlimited armor, unlimited bullets, all weapon, disarms, etc.
will be unlocked.
Bulletproof mode:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Upx3, Square, Down.
A message will confirm correct code entry. You will have unlimited
armor in this mode.
Hard boiled mode:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Triangle, Square, Leftx2,
Circle. A message will confirm correct code entry. Hard
boiled mode increases challenge level significantly, especially
when used with the Super Cop difficulty setting. Enemies will
become much more accurate.
Up Close And Personal mode:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Square, Triangle, Circle,
Triangle, Square. A message will confirm correct
code entry. This mode allows human shields to have unlimited health.
Invisible character:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Trianglex2, Upx2, Triangle.
A message will confirm correct code entry. Enemies can still see
you, but you can only see your own shadow.
10,000 Bullets mode:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Up, Left, Down, Right,
Circle. A message will confirm correct code entry. This
mode allows unlimited ammunition.
Woof mode:
On the 'New Game' screen, just after the
'Press Start' screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 and hit Circle, Square, Triangle,
Circle, Down. A message will confirm correct code
entry. Shadow has unlimited Stamina in this mode.
Hints: Glitch: Get stuck in hole:
When you are escaping from prison in the riot and you
go down to the sewers and to the caverns, get to the first boards
you use to go across. If you fall, you do not die. You will be
down in the dark hole and cannot get out.
Hints: Flaming Fisted Man warning:
After defeating Flaming Fisted Man, the game restarts
itself. This does not allow you to save your game, meaning that
you either start a new game or continue fighting Flaming Fist
Man repeatedly.
Hints: Chapter 13: Voice access:
Kill one of the men that has green on. You will see
a man in yellow walk out in the open and run back. After a moment,
the man in the yellow will run over to you. When he does this,
and grab him. If another man runs with him, kill him and leave
the man in yellow alive. Take him to give the voice authorization
and you will be able to open gate. When you go over to the gate,
a lot of men will be there. An easy way to kill all of them is
to run up to them and grab one as a shield. The man you grab will
get killed quickly. Keep doing this until only one person remains.
Hints: Defeating Pinnacle:
While fighting Pinnacle, repeatedly hit Jump
to easily dodge his attacks. Jack will automatically turn to face
Pinnacle before he jumps -- you do not have to worry about getting
too far away from him. While Jack is jumping, he is impervious
to all of Pinnacle's attacks. Do this repeatedly to tire Pinnacle
out, then jump on his back and finish him off. You can also attack
Pinnacle in front by punching and using low kicks, but this is
not recommended as it does not take much damage from Pinnacle.
Hints: Defeating the helicopter for the
Hints: Defeating Diggs:
Diggs is the ex boxer you will have to face in the
later part of the game. When he reaches three quarters of his
health, gas which will hurt you will be turned on. You can knock
off his gas mask and put it on. Keep hiting Triangle
to dive and he cannot touch you. His power will slowly go down,
and he will soon be defeated.
Hints: Mini-games:
To unlock the mini-games, successfully complete the
game under any difficulty setting.
Hints: Defeating people without guns:
To defeat people that do not have guns easier, keep
blocking and dodging. If you do not dodge, you will still get
hurt. When you are in the prison, you will learn how to reverse
a grab. This allows you to avoid getting hurt when they grab you.
When you reverse the grab, you will throw their arms in the air.
This will leave them open to attack [punch, kick, grab, etc.].
However, they can still block.
Hints: Chapter 3: Spine break:
When you are locked up 'Iron Point' and are
walking around in the hall only two or three people will be around.
One of them will run up to you and say something. When you run
away, they start to walk away. As they walk away you can go in
back of them and do the grab. However, they move too much and
you will end up breaking their back.
Hints: Training: Unlimited ammunition:
At the beginning of the training, after you blow the
men up with the canister, switch weapons to your pistol. You can
shoot with out running out of ammunition.
