How to Cheat:
Change a visitor's name to any of the following for the desired effect:
Adam Levesque - Makes all animals care programs available
Akiyama - Unlocks all of the scenarios
Alfred H - White Birds Appear and Scare People
Andrew Binder - Unlocks all of the animal houses
Bill Gates - Get higher donations
Charlie Petterson - Get all the foliage
Hank Howie - Researches All Zoo Staff Research
John Wheeler - All Animal Shelters Available
Lou Catanzaro - All animal toys
Mr. Blue - Changes clothes and buildings color to Blue
Mr. Blonde - Changes clothes and buildings color to Yellow
Mr. White - Changes clothes and buildings color to White
Mr. Brown - Changes clothes and buildings color to Brown
Mr. Orange - Changes clothes and buildings color to Orange
Mr. Pink - Changes clothes and buildings color to Pink
Mr. White - Changes clothes and buildings color to White
Russell C - Fences All Deteriorate 100%
Steve Serafino - Unlocks all of the endangered animals
Zeta Psi - Some People's Shirt Turns Yellow and They Puke
5. If you want more money at start of the game, edit zoo.ini with notepad or wordpad and find a line
called MSMaxCash. Change that to whatever you want and you can start out with a couple of million.
Another Method:
You can get instant money by hiting shift4 [$] but make sure you do it and get enough money before
you make any animal cages or all your fences will break and your animals will get loose.
Get Super Croc!:
Make an exhibit and name it Super Croc [with the capitals]. You'll get the dino croc and as a baby he's
the same size as a regular Croc! [thanks Super_Killer]
Dodo from Alice and Wonderland:
Name a dodo Mr.Dodo than the dodo will turn in to the dodo bird from Disney's Alice and Wonderland.
2X Donations:
Name an exibit Microsoft or name an exibit Blue Fang and get 2x donations.
Unlock the Triceratops:
To unlock the Triceratops, rename one of your exhibits 'Cretaceous Corral'. The game may crash if you
give this name to a new exhibit.
Easter Eggs:
Santa Claus - Wait to the day on Zoo Tycoon is Dec. 25 that is Christmas.
Easter Bunny - Wait to the day on ZooTycoon is Easter. He will enter your zoo.
Witch - Wait to the day on ZooTycoon is Oct. 30, Halloween. She will enter your zoo.
Zoo Tycoon Airplane - Wait for the day Sept. 15, day Zoo Tycoon was made. It will fly over the park.
More Money:
Put 10 different animals in the same exhibit.
Add Money:
Hints: Sell the babies:
When you first start a zoo put four male lions and four female lions [same with zebras] then when you
are out of money sell all the babiss.
Hints: Eloping Keepers:
When you have problems with eloping keepers construct on your exhibit entrance tile enough picket fence
to keep the keeper out of your park. Buy the keeper, put him on an existing path and click the
exhibit on his workchedule, then place the keeper in the exhibit and as you will see the animals will
benefit from maximum caretaking of the zookeeper.
Hints: Bonus:
When you're low on money, build and exhibit and put all your species in it[if you have enough], and you
will get the award for most diverse zoo, and $30,000 bonus.
Hints: More Money:
If you don't have much money, then sell some trees in your zoo [even if they were there when you started]
by clicking on the bulldozer and selecting the tree.
Hints: Billy Increases Hamburger Demand:
Name a guest Bill Gates and the hamburger demand will increase
Hints: More Money:
Trap all of your gests in an exibet next to the enterance and put a fence on the entarence of your zoo
and put shops and stuf .Then they will buy all of your food and drinks.
