Download action replay codes
All upgrades:
Press Start to pause game play, then enter the controller options. Then, hit Up, Left, Down,
Right, Startx2, Y, A, X, B.
All bonuses:
Press Up, Down, Up, Down, A, Start, X, Start, Y, A, Y, A, Xx2, B at the options
screen.
Hints: Unblockable finisher:
Press Yx4, X with any character.
Hints: Defeating Imperfect Cell:
Once you are on the island, Sabamen will start attacking you. After the Sabamen, Imperfect Cell will
appear. When you fight him you can kill him easily. Use uppercut, then lock on to him. Then, do Galik
Gun. He will fall to the ground. Transport and do a another Galik Gun. Run up to him and start
doing kicking combos.
Hints: Defeating Android 18:
To defeat Android 18 in Trunk's Saga, dodge her blasts, then hit Punch four times.
Hints: Protecting Goku:
With two players, while one is fighting the Android, have the other person stand in between Goku and
Dr. Gero. The Ki Blasts that Dr. Gero shoots should hit the other player instead of Goku. Make sure
that they are a short distance away from Goku, as the explosion from taking the Ki Blasts can also
hurt him.
Hints: Easy practice:
Set the game on two-player mode. Have the second player be Goku or Vegeta. You will win against him because
he cannot attack.
Hints: Teen Gohan: Defeating Perfect Cell:
Keep hitting him until the Ki bar for Super Saiyan is full. Then turn Super Saiyan and keep hitting him
until you have filled the Ki bar for Super Saiyan 2. Finally, when you turn Super Saiyan 2 attack
Cell with Masenko, but first lock on to him with L. If he teleports behind you, use a combo.
Note: Do not waste your Ki on Cell.
Hints: Glitch: Leave game boundary:
In Journey to Namek, choose Piccolo [no cape]. Defeat the first set of enemies. When you get to the second
set [with the one on the building that is firing at you], defeat them as well. Next, go the
location where the building meets the hill [closest to beginning]. Get a run and jump at the building,
but stay close to the hill at the same time. If done correctly, Piccolo should land on the hill!
You can now climb up the hill and play around on the mountains in the background. The blue pits
will take you into an infinite abyss.
In Tyranny of Frieza, choose any character and defeat the first three waves of enemies. Then, go to the
second rock. You should see a tree and a strip of beach behind the rock. Destroy the tree. You
need to get on the beach. To do so, you must fly over the rock. To fly over the rock, go to the big
third rock. Get to the highest point on the bottom ledge, near the right. Jump and fly onto the
next ledge. With practice you can get to the very top of the rock, and will be able to jump. Jump,
fly, and go over the previous rock, then land. Now jump. If your character is greenish, jump again
and hit Forward. You should land. Jump, and if your character looks normal, move towards the
left edge of the rock, but do not cross it. Keep going forward, and to the side slightly. Eventually
your character should run off into the water. Be careful to fly here, or you will fall too far
to come back. You can fly around looking at the islands, and and see Frieza's spaceship up close.
Hints: Glitch: Invisible character:
When a Boss appears behind you and hits your character up in the air keep hiting A and you will become
invisible.
Hints: Defeating Cell:
Once in SS1, do only simple combos with a lot of buttons involved. The more buttons the better. Try using
the first two combos that you learn. Note: You must have Combo Breaker. Try not to use Ki moves
unless you have to; the longer you must charge, the more open you are to attacks.
Hints: Defeating Vegeta:
When fighting Vegeta, stay in the air the entire time. Dodge his Galic Guns. When he uses his other attack,
it will only affect you if you are on the ground. While that attack occurs, Vegeta will be
vulnerable. Lock on to him with L and hold X to hit him with a Kamehameha Wave. Keep doing this
until he is defeated. You should not lose any health by doing this.
Fly in the air so you do not get hit, then stay in the air. Hold X, then when Goku says Kame, release
X. It will almost always hit him.
Dodge his moves and get up to him. Keep attacking with Bx2, Yx2. Do not stop doing this to prevent
Vegeta from guarding. Sometimes he will make a quick guard and start beating you again. Note: He
is very fast.
Hints: Glitch: Freiza becomes stuck:
In the fight with Freiza, if you hit him at the bottom of the screen he will be stuck. He will throw
a blast at you, but you cannot hurt him. Throw a Kamehame Wave and he will be back on the island so
that you can resume fighting him.
Hints: Goku: Defeating Freiza:
When fighting Freiza as Goku, you can only hurt him when you are a Super Saiyan. When he charges up his
Death Ball, use the Quick Teleport [if purchased] to get to him and deliver the blows to hurt him
or charge up your Super Saiyan meter. Try using only punches and kicks, as he will dodge the Kamehame
Wave. It will only hit and hurt him if you are Super Saiyan and if done while he is charging
up his Death Ball.
Hints: Warp Kamekameha:
To do a Warp Kamehameha or any Warp Ki attack, when charging it lock on to your opponent and teleport.
Hints: Defeating Bosses:
When fighting a Boss, have a special move, teleport, and a good combo chosen. Run up to the Boss enough
to teleport behind them, then do a combo. When he or she gets thrown away, lock on quickly and
hurl a special move to cause maximum damage.
