Include Painful Choice and two Backup Soldier [using Painful Choice and then Backup Soldier is a great combo. You can get up to three pieces of Exodia].

Include Pot of Greed and two Graceful Charity [draw more cards].

Do not include any Jar Of Greed or Upstart Goblin [you get to draw one card, but if this card was never in your deck, you would have drawn the card you wanted immediately].

All five Exodia pieces.

Keep the number of cards at exactly 40 [you want the least number of cards in an Exodia deck].

Do not include burner cards [cards that do direct damage], such as Just Desserts, Magic Cylinder, etc. [the point of Exodia is not do deal damage, so these cards are a waste].

Do not include healing cards [cards that boost your life points], such as Dian Keto or Solemn Wishes [rather than healing, a better tactic is stalling].

Include Swords of Revealing Light, two or three Gravity Bind, and two or three Messenger of Peace [stalling cards, to stop your opponent from attacking].

Include effect cards; your deck should have 0 non-effect creatures [do not use defense monsters such as Giant Soldier of Stone and any other 2000 DEF four star creatures. It is better to have effect monsters].

Include three Spear Cretins, Premature Burial, Monster Reborn, and Call of the Haunted [revive Sangan and Witch for more pieces].

Include one or two Big Eye [to get the cards you need faster].

Include one or two Penguin Soldier [remove cards from field and rarely, but in some cases, bring back an Exodia piece to your hand].

Do not include any attack monsters, cards that steal monsters, or anything offensive [Exodia is a defensive deck].

Include two Magic Jammer and two Seven Tools of the Bandit [negate magics and traps].

Include two or three Magician Of Faith and two or three Mask Of Darkness [revive magics and traps to get Exodia with them].

Solemn Judgments are also good, but use them at low life points only [stop anything].

Make sure one Monster Reborn is in your opponent's graveyard. You will not need to pay 2,000 LP for one Grave Robber; just set it face down for the Grave Robber card then activate it on your next turn. Get Monster Reborn from your opponent's Graveyard set your opponent's Monster Reborn face down then activate it. Note: You will not lose 2,000 LP. If you want to lose LP, activate it immediately. Then, bring back the strongest monster in either players' Graveyard. Do this again to get an army of the strongest monsters on the field.

Hints: Get Gate Guardian, Suijin, Kazejin, and Sanga Of The Thunder:

The description for Zera The Mant states offer monsters whose total stars equals 7, but Zera Ritual says offer monsters whose total stars equal 8.

Hints: Glitch: Misspelling:
When you talk to a passenger he says 'You probably realized that there are new and more detailed descriptions for each card this time around. But dDid you know that for those descriptions that won't fit in a single display. you can read the remaning contents by simply hiting down on the Control Pad?'. In this sentence, 'did' is misspelled as 'dDid'.

Often when monsters equipped with such cards as Malevolent Nuzzler or Dark Pendant [which have effects for being sent to the graveyard are done so by cards such as Dark Hole], the CPU will overlook the effect.

Hints: Glitch: Sangan:
When in a duel, use Premature Burial [70828912] to reborn Sangan [26202165]. When it gets destroyed, you may be able to bring two monsters with less than an attack of 1500 instead of just one.

Hints: Easy fusions:
Some monsters such as Mystical Sheep #1, Goddess With The Third Eye and Versago The Destroyer can substitute other monsters in a fusion. For example, if you have Summoned Skull in your hand and want to summon B. Skull Dragon by means of Polymerization, you can fuse Summoned Skull with Versago The Destroyer instead of Red Eyes Black Dragon to achieve the same effect. These monsters are very useful as they are universal for all fusion monsters. You can quickly get them from your deck by using the effects of monsters such as Giant Rat, Mystic Tomato and Witch Of The Black Forest.

Hints: Deleting monsters:
If your opponent has two monsters on the field, and you use Change Of Heart on a Magician Of Faith, then use its effect to Change Of Heart another monster. At the end of your turn when your opponent gets his creatures back, one of them will go on top of the other one, deleting the bottom one.

When you use Bazoo or Kycoo's effect, you cannot remove magic and trap cards from play, although it does not say that you can only remove monsters in the card's effect text.

Hints: Glitch: Permanent control shift:
When you play Change Of Heart on one of your opponent's monsters then play Mystic Box, if you select the monster you took control of to give to your opponent, then that monster will be shifted to your side of the field at the end phase of the turn, permanently. For example, if Kaiba uses Cyber Stein to summon Blue-eyes Ultimate Dragon when it is your turn, use Change Of Heart on his Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, then play Mystic Box to destroy Cyber Stein and give him Blue-eyes Ultimate Dragon in return. At your end phase, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon will shift to your side of the field for the remainder of the duel. Note: This will work on any monster.

Rex: His strategy is simple: attack, attack, attack. He uses his Twin Headed King Rex [1600] a lot. Again, use lots of traps to dispose of his dinos. Also, do not try to focus your deck on over powering his monsters, as Rex's deck revolves on power.

Hints: Summon five monsters at the beginning of your turn:
Make sure that you go first at the duel. You will need these cards in your hand: Lord of D., two Flute Of Summoning Dragons, and four of any dragons. Summon Lord of D., then activate Flute Of Summoning Dragons.

Hints: Glitch: Graceful Dice or Skull Dice:
When playing either a Graceful Dice or Skull Dice during a duel, do not hit any buttons while either or the two dice are rolling. Wait until its animation has stopped until you hit anything. Otherwise, the Graceful Dice/Skull Dice [whichever one you hited buttons with], will freeze as its animation ends, and will keep freezing any time you activate that card on the field.

In the Japanese version, the duel points are for the card passwords. In the North American version, you can get the cards without needing 500 duel points.

Hints: Weakening an enemy monster:
Have three Snake Fangs on the field face down and have already been played the last turn. Then, activate the three Snake Fangs to reduce a powerful monster that you cannot destroy, Then, activate Shield & Sword. The attack points will be switched, with its defense making the enemy monsters so weak that it is a monster with exactly 0 Attack power. Then, attack with your strongest monster. It is just like a direct attack. If the monster is in defense mode, switch it to attack mode with Stop Defense the magic card.
