 In-game reset:
Press Start + Select + A + B during game play.
 Hints: Defeating Kecleon:
In his stage, he is invisible, but there are two ways of knowing where he is located. Hit the tree and
glasses will fall out, allowing you can see him, or look at the environment. If you see something
[like a plant] move, go there.
Hints: Opening PokeMart in Sapphire:
In Sapphire, you will notice a PokeMart flanked by a Plusle and a Minum. To get past the electricity,
hit the plus and minus buttons below the Plusle and Minum. They will get knocked down and the electricity
will disappear, giving you access to the PokeMart.
Hints: Capture Kyogre:
While playing on the Sapphire table, catch three Pokemon, complete the Duskull stage, then catch another
three Pokemon to get the Kyogre stage. Avoid whirlpools and ice shards and hit Kyogre fifteen
times to defeat it. Defeat Kyogre twice and you will catch it.
When Kyogre surfaces after diving twice, shoot the ball up the top above where he would be. The ball
should get trapped and you wil win the round.
To capture Kyogre, you must complete the Kyogre bonus stage two times. To get to the Kyogre bonus field
you must complete the Duskull bonus field.
At the very start of the bonus stage, flick the ball and hit him once. Before he uses his Ice Beam move,
let your ball drop through the middle and he will miss. When your ball reappears, it will have
saved more time than getting caught in his Ice Beam.
Hints: Capture Rayquaza:
Finish the Rayquaza Bonus ROUND with at least 1:00 minute remaining.
While playing on either table, catch three Pokemon, complete the Duskull stage, then catch another three
Pokemon to get the Kyogre/Groundon stage. Defeat Kyogre/Groundon twice, then when you activate
the slots, or catch another three Pokemon, you will find the Rayquaza stage. Avoid the thunder and
the tornadoes and hit Rayquaza fifteen times to defeat it. Defeat Rayquaza twice and you will catch
it.
Hints: Zigzagoon helper:
In the Sapphire field, a Zigzagoon will be on the right side of the field and is helpful for getting
better items on the roulette. To make him help you, hit the point he is standing on. If you hit it
correctly, he should be standing up. Whenever the roulette is spinning, hit A to make it slow
down. If an A button appears above Zigzagoon, hit it when you want to make the roulette stop on
what you want. Zigzagoon will use Agility to make it stop on what you selected.
Hints: Easy points:
Catch many egg Pokemon, travel a lot, win bonus games, or hit bumpers and other interactive objects in
the stage.
Hints: Makuhita helper:
In the Ruby field, a Makuhita will be on the right side of the field and is helpful for getting better
Pokeballs. To get it to help you, hit the Chikorita on the left side of the field, then hit the
Linoone that pops out where Makuhita is located. Makuhita will turn around, and whenever you hit
the right flipper, he will punch. If timed correctly, he can punch the ball to hit a Nuzleaf that
will eventually make a bridge to get an upgrade on your ball.
Hints: Capture Jirachi:
While playing on either table, after completing both the events mentioned elsewhere [catch Groundon/Kyogre
and Rayquaza, on the same ball/turn], the Apparition stage will appear on the slots. Alternately,
catch three Pokemon, although the slots are easier. Once the Apparition event is activated,
hit Jirachi three times [who appears on the table, unlike the other Bosses which teleport you to a
different stage] and you will catch it.
This trick can be done on any field. Enter travel mode six times to go to the ruins. Activate slot mode,
and if you get lucky it will stop on the Jirachi panel. It will break open and release Jirachi.
You must hit Jirachi three times, but within thirty seconds. Note: Jirachi will be flying around
the stadium. Also, use the Zigazoon switch to stop the slot on the right panel. This trick can also
be used to catch the Regies and Beldome.
Hints: Selecting your field:
Before you start your pinball game, you will see a roulette spinning. When you hit A, it will stop
on a specific field. You can only catch certain types of Pokemon on certain fields. To get the one
you want, hit Start while its spinning. If it is the field you want, hold A. If it did not
stop on the one you wanted, hit Start and pause it again. It should stop on the same field you
saw when you paused it. If it did not stop at the same field, restart your game and try again.
Hints: Kecleon bonus stage:
To win in this mini-game, keep hitting Kecleon whenever he falls to the floor. To see him while he is
hiding, hit the tree and get the item that falls down. It will show you where Kecleon is hiding for
fifteen seconds. Keep hitting him until he surrenders. If you win, you will get 30,000,000 points.
Grade 1 [Poke Ball]: 30,000,000 x 1 = 30,000,000 Grade 2 [Great Ball]: 30,000,000 x
2 = 60,000,000 Grade 3 [Ultra Ball]: 30,000,000 x 3 = 90,000,000 Grade 4 [Master Ball]: 30,000,000
x 4 = 120,000,000 Kyogre bonus stage:
After you catch six Pokemon in the Sapphire field, you can enter a bonus stage to fight Kyogre. He will
be very difficult to defeat. He uses Ice Ball, Dive, and Whirlpool to protect himself. You wil
have to keep evading his Ice Balls and Whirlpools to get to him. When he dives, it will show you one
second before where he will appear from. If you win, you will get 50,000,000 points.
Catch three Pokemon on the Sapphire field to enter the Duskull bonus field. Hit twenty Duskulls with
your ball on the first stage. Note: If you do not hit Duskull quickly enough, it will automatically
disappear when it floats across the screen two times. When finished, a giant Dusclops will appear.
Always try to hit it from the side or the rear. If Dusclops is standing still, it will absorb any
ball that approaches from the front. This will waste a lot of time. When it is walking towards
or away from the flippers, you can hit it from the front. Hit Dusclops ten times to destroy him. The
point calculation for this field is as follows. Grade 1 [Poke Ball]: 30,000,000
x 1 = 30,000,000 Grade 2 [Great Ball]: 30,000,000 x 2 = 60,000,000 Grade 3 [Ultra Ball]:
30,000,000 x 3 = 90,000,000 Grade 4 [Master Ball]: 30,000,000 x 4 = 120,000,000
Groudon bonus stage:
After you catch six Pokemon in the Ruby field, you can enter a bonus stage to fight Groudon. He will
be very difficult to defeat. He uses Rock Tomb, Earthquake, and Eruption to protect himself. You will
have to keep destroying his boulders and flame towers to get to him. If you win, you will get
50,000,000 points.
In the Groudon bonus stage, the Pokemon appears flanked by a ring of flame torches. Instead of spending
time trying to destroy the torches to gain access to the Pokemon, use it to your advantage. Before
Groudon activates the shield, flip your ball up to the Pokemon. When the shield is activated,
the ball is trapped within, hitting the Groudon continuously.
