Hidden options:
At the main menu, there are several options [i.e. 'Play Movie', 'Scene Selections', 'Bonus Treasure Hunt'
[fancy title for bonus features], etc.' If you hit Up at the main menu interface, you will
highlight an icon in the form of an open book or tome. Press Enter to select it and a new menu
appears. There is an option to input two different codes: The 'Secret Key Code' and 'The Master Code'.
The Secret Key Code is '397'. The Master Code is '405'.
The Secret Key Code menu allows access to a number of hidden bonus features, including 'Treasure Hunters
Revealed' [an 8 minute clip about real Treasure Hunters], Riley Poole's Decode This [a special
interactive puzzle game], 'The Templar Knights' [a 5 minute clip about the Knights Templar], and
a Verizon Wireless bonus menu [contains a special National Treasure commercial and cheat codes for
the Cell Phone videogame].
The Master Code menu is not entirely special. It basically contains all of the features/clips combined
from both the regular and Secret Key bonus feature menus. However, there is another option at the
bottom of this Menu known as Bonus Trivia Track Viewing Mode, which allows the film to be viewed
with added text commentary pertaining to the history of the United States.
