This is the The Konami code -- select Gradius from the main menu and then, at the title screen, enter
this code:
Upx2, Downx2, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A
Start the game as normal, but upon starting your game hit the Start button to Max-out your ship with
every power-up, except for Speed. Note that you can only do this once!

Borderlands
